Since the Covid-19 global pandemic was announced by the World Health Organisation back on 19 March 2020, we have given thought to the many ways that people around the world have been impacted during this time.

What has happened to people during the time of the global Covid-19 pandemic?

We set out to answer this question and account for as many people as possible. This, The Covid-19 Global Pandemic Roll Call, is our attempt at creating a lasting community-sourced record of life and death during this time.

It's quick, easy and free to join in. Add yourself and anyone you know who cannot add themself. Tell everyone you know about it to help build the most incredible roll call ever, in a time when we were and still are confronted with a situation like never before.

You can add just a Name and Title, or ideally add a short or extended biography. You can also upload up to 4 photos with your entry, embed a video, or choose a gif. You can edit your entries at any time by logging in and viewing "Mine" within the relevant section.

Registered users of the website can add a reaction to your entries and have the option to add tributes or kudos.

When you add an entry, you can add hashtags within the biography text, as well as optionally tagging it with one or more of the following "segments":

• The Fallen - These are people who have sadly died during the pandemic whether or not as a direct result of the disease.
• The Afflicted - People who contracted the Covid-19 disease or were otherwise seriously ill during the pandemic.
• The Heroes - The people who sacrificed and acted to support and keep others safe.
• The Helpers - People who volunteered and got out to help others directly.
• The Givers - People who gave what they could and raised money and time to help others.
• The Innovators - People who came up with new businesses or pivoted to doing something different.
• The Vaccinated - Those who have been vaccinated against Covid-19.
• The Survivors - People who got the Covid-19 disease to a significant extent and thankfully survived.
• The New - Babies born during the pandemic.
• The Others - Select this if none of the other segments fits your entry.
